With the deadline for nominations in Neepawa''s two by-elections having passed, five names will appear on the ballot on February 28th. CJ97''s Jim Cockburn tells us that Neepawa will have three candidates for the Mayor’s position and those will be former Mayor’s Ken Waddell & Bob Durston and Murray Parrott, who stepped down as Councilor. Running for the vacant Council position is Sherri Grant and Allan Drysdale, who are both first time candidates. Meanwhile a new website dedicate to tracking the Neepawa election is now available. NeepawaVotes.com contains snapshots of the candidates platforms and allows citizens to submit questions to each candidate to ensure they can make an informed choice on election day.
