Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer''s Contract Terminated

Manitoba''s Chief Public Health Officer''s contract has been torn up. Dr. Joel Kettner has been the province''s top doctor since 2007, he became well-known during the H1N1 crisis for his constant updates on the spread of the virus and the development of its vaccine. Dr. Kettner said that the termination was done without cause. Margaret Fast has been named the acting Chief Public Health Officer.
