"Just One Beer.." Says Edmonton East MP

Edmonton East MP Peter Goldring says that he will not plead guilty to the charge of failing to take a breathalyzer. Goldring appeared in court yesterday as the case was deferred for three weeks. Goldring made a statement yesterday after the hearing where he said that he had consumed one beer. His Lawyers say that the trial is likely at least six months away. The 67 year-old Goldring has been representing the Warde since 1997.
