Witness Tells Crown that Manitoba Man Paid 10K to Have His Family

A key witness in a Manitoba murder trial has come forward saying that Jerome Labossiere paid ten thousand dollars to have his brother and parents killed. Jeremie Toupin made a deal with Justice officials to testify that he was paid to commit the murders. Jerome Labossiere, Michael Hince and Jeremie Toupin were originally charged with first degree murder after the attack in St.Leon that killed Fernand, Rita and Remi Labossiere. The three bodies were found in the basement of their home after a fire in 2005. It was later determined that they had been shot before the fire took place. Toupin told the court that after trafficking cocaine for Labossiere, He and Micheal were asked to kill his family. The trial is ongoing and all parties are innocent until proven guilty.
