Air Canada Offers Pilots Less Wages
Air Canada has made a proposal to its 3 thousand pilots that would give them less generous wage increases than a deal that was rejected last year. The proposal outlines a 5 year contract that begins on the day of ratification. The deal would entail a 2 percent increase in wage in the first three years and a 3 percent increase in the remaining two years. It is unclear whether the company has moved from this position as talks continue. Neither Air Canada nor The Air Canada Pilots Association would comment Thursday on the subject.
