Witness Grilled in Manitoba Triple Murder Trial
Defense Attorney''s attacked the credibility of the man who stepped forward yesterday saying that he and another man were paid to commit the murders of three St. Leon citizens. Jeremie Toupin went on record yesterday stating that he and Micheal Hince were paid ten thousand dollars by Jerome Labossiere to kill Labossiere''s parents and brother. The three deceased Labossiere family members were found in the basement of their home after a fire in the Fall of 2005. It was later determined that the three had been shot before the fire took place. Toupin said that Labossiere wanted to kill his brother because of the way he was running the family farm, but later his parents were also added to the plan. Labossiere and another suspect, Micheal Hince both pleaded not guilty of three counts of First Degree Murder. The trial has adjourned till Monday.
