Break and Enter Suspect

A 26-year-old man suspected in a string of small town break and enters targeting beer and liquor stores is in custody with charges pending. Police from the Portage la Prairie detachment of the RCMP reported the arrest. The crimes were in the towns of MacGregor, Austin and Gladstone, Manitoba and police added a substantial amount of liquor was stolen but a stolen vehicle and a "large amount" of the liquor has since been recovered. The man in custody is from the Long Plain First Nation.
