Manitoba Scares Off Nominee Workers

Manitoba has received the most immigrants in the last few years although the province boasts the lowest percentage of keeping those immigrants in our province. An analysis of the provincial nominee programs shows that between 2005 and 2009 Manitoba received nearly 40 percent of all the people immigrating to Canada. Though only 82 percent of the people who immigrate here actually stay in province, Compared to the 96 percent in Alberta and British Columbia. Analysts are saying that the reason behind those numbers are the fact that the people that move here are making an average of 33 thousand a year, compared to nearly triple that in Alberta.
