Good start for Neepawa Natives.

Neepawa Natives liking what they''re seeing so far out of the new faces trying to make a good impression this pre-season. The Natives won their opening pre-season game Wednesday night, downing the Winnipeg Saints 4-1. G-M and Coach Bryant Perrier says he''s pleased with the effort from the young players Wednesday night, considering they''re learning the system on the fly.

Tyler Larson, Quentin Holmes, Scott Kirkham and Jordon Hebert scored for Neepawa while Wendell Vye stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Natives'' net.
