Busy Week for RCMP

Neepawa RCMP had a busy week, mostly due to vandalism in the community. The primary target seemed to be vehicles, several of which had their mirrors knocked off. Also, thefts to personal property was investigated, including lawn ornaments and solar lights. Tickets were given to 13 speeders last week, with combined fines of more than five thousand dollars. The worst speeding offender was clocked going 114 kilometres an hour in a sixty kilometre construction zone. The driver was hit with a hefty fine, of more than one thousand dollars.
