Learn to Camp

No matter how little camping experience you have, Riding Mountain National Park can help you learn! The park is hosting Learn To Camp this weekend. This event is designed to provide first time campers and young families with experiences that they wouldn''t usually have living in urban areas. Close to one hundred novice campers will learn about the camping basics. At the same time, Parks Canada will be launching an all new camping app for smartphones that will provide information about camping basics, equipment checklists and recommendations about where to camp.
