Former Neepawa Resident in Hot Water

A former Neepawa resident is in legal hot water again, after being arrested in Miami. Andrew Strempler is expected to be brought forward next week to face charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, stemming from an online pharmacy business. Strempler left Canada in 2006, after the US Food and Drug Administration issued a statement that his pharmaceutical company was selling drugs to customers in the US. Strempler was once the owner of MediPlan, which employed nearly 200 people in Minnedosa.
