Countryfest Day 2

Dauphin’s CountryFest swung into high gear yesterday, with the first full day of entertainment. Dauphin RCMP were on hand to keep the celebrations under control. Police responded to two complaints of mischief, and arrested two people in connection with those calls. Another three festival goers were lodged for the night for being intoxicated. No charges are pending. Traffic enforcement in the area resulted in an updated total of 39 people being charged for speeding, 4 for other traffic offences and 1 person was charged for having open liquor.
