CJ 97 has obtained a memo sent out to Western RHA employees, announcing the new executive for the health authority. CEO Penny Gilson was appointed in late May, but the remaining executive members were not announced until Friday. The management consists of four members from the former Brandon RHA, one from former Parkland RHA, and two selected from the Assiniboine RHA, including Gilson and Pat Cockburn who will be responsible for Acute Care Services. The Western RHA says that the new members of the Executive Team will be transitioning into their roles over the next few weeks.
