Glenboro Ambulance Service

Among other pressing concerns, the newly amalgamated health authority will be scrambling to fill gaps in ambulance service. In the community of Glenboro, as a 71-year-old ambulance driver retires this year, the service will go with him. In the interim, the area will be left to rely on Carberry and Treherne’s full time ambulance service. And this isn’t just bad news for Glenboro – the ambulance would often be the first to arrive to nearby communities when ambulances were away on another call or a day trip.
