St. Teresa Point Fire

The province took its first action Thursday to fight a northern forest fire with bulldozers and air power south of St. Theresa Point, where hundreds of people have been evacuated by air because of billowing smoke.The measures to fight the fire are being taken to provide reassurance, not because there’s a threat the First Nation will go up in flames.
