Miracle Treat Day Numbers

While the final numbers are not quite tallied, Neepawa’s Dairy Queen staff can safely say that it was another terrific Miracle Treat Day. The event was held Thursday, with proceeds from every Blizzard sold donated to the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital. Franchisee Pam Brown says that preliminary numbers show that the store sold 11 more Blizzards this year than in 2011. Brown was hoping to surpass last year’s sales, and raise at least ten thousand dollars. A complete count of the money raised here in Neepawa is expected tomorrow.
