Helicopter used in Rescue

RCMP used a helicopter to rescue a group of campers on a wilderness trip Sunday after lightning struck a canoeist hauling a boat ashore. The pilot and two RCMP officers located the group about 22 miles from Bloodvein who were waving frantically at the helicopter. The canoeists sent out an SOS by GPS but it was late and light was fading.
