Catch Up on Immunizations

With a brand new school year on the horizon and back to school shopping back in full swing, it can be easy for parents to forget about one of the most important things children need for school – up to date vaccinations. Before entering kindergarten, students should have their Four in One booster. This shot protects against Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis or whooping cough, and Polio. All four of these illnesses can be serious and even fatal. Manitoba Public Health Nurse Susan Stevenson says that there are also immunizations for your school age children.
