Portage House Fire

Police are investigating a fire that caused extensive damage to a home in Portage La Prairie. RCMP, along with fire and EMS were dispatched to the fire yesterday afternoon. Officials were able to gain control of the fire. The residence was unoccupied at the time, and no one was hurt in the blaze. No other properties were affected. Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner is assisting the RCMP in the investigation, and the fire is considered to be arson.
