RCMP Nabbing Speeders

Spruce Plains RCMP have been busy handing out tickets and charges in traffic offenses. In the last two weeks, several drivers were ticketed for driving more than 120 kilometres per hour, with the fastest speeder being nabbed at 148. That driver, a man from Minnesota, received a six hundred sixty dollar fine. An off duty officer met a motorcycle driver in Gladstone, and noticed a beer cooler bag on the handle bars. The biker knew he was in trouble when the officer identified himself. He received a four hundred dollar fine for open liquor, and had his beverages seized. Four people were charged with impaired driving this month.
