Work Continues on Hwy. 83

Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation continue to work on Highway 83. The highway was destroyed between Roblin and Russell when a sinkhole developed. A provincial spokesperson tells CJ Radio that right now crews are trying to re-establish surface drainage and reduce the possibility of future slides. They are leveling the ground in the area. This is being accomplished by truck loads of rocks.
