Meet the Staff

Donald Phillips

Donald Phillips not only brings a wealth of Neepawa information to the airwaves but also makes sure you get your morning trivia prizes.  You can catch Don on the air from the scene of breaking news and during community interviews.  When he isn't busy on the radio, he makes the rounds in the Heartland making sure businesses reach CJ97's amazing listeners.

Jim Cockburn

One of Neepawa's most recognizable faces becomes one of Neepawa's most recognizable voices when Jim Cockburn keeps you up to date on the latest news from around the town and throughout the listening area.  With his finger on the pulse of whats happening, Jim ensures our listeners are kept up to date on community events, news and views.

Andy Brown

Andy take you through your afternoon and plays the music you want to hear on the CJ Radio Request show - weekdays from 4 until 6pm.  A graduate of WABC Saskatoon, Andy's smooth voice and electric personality keep you glued to your radio as he takes a look through local events, provincial happens and international news.

Cody Manchester

Cody comes to CJ Radio from Saskatchewan - but we don't hold that against him!  With an eye for intersting stories and a nose for local sports you can hear Cody weekday mornings on CJ97 - The Voice of the Heartland.  Ready to match wits with him?  Most of the questions on Mission Impossible Trivia come from Mr. Manchester - so see if you can show him up every weekday at 7:45AM.

Mitch Elliot

Mitch is not only the voice of morning news on CJ97 but also the other half of the Cody and Mitch morning show.  Putting up with Cody each morning can be a lot of work - but Mitch makes it sound fun.  Mitch's hobbies include video games so when you call in make sure to ask what his latest favorite is - and maybe arrange a match online.

Skylar Bouchard

A graduate of the Academy of Broadcasting in Winnipeg, Skylar joins CJ97's newsroom fresh off training at CJOB 68 Winnipeg.  While he might be the new kid on the block at our station, he is already a pro at bringing you the local news, first.

Melissa McCullough

Although born in Saskatoon, Melissa has been a Manitoban her entire life.....and knows how to say Hoodie NOT Bunny Hug! She has been with the CJ family since the beginning of CJ104 in Swan River in 2006. That commitment continues in the heartland as a part of CJ97 on-air from 9am to noon every Monday to Friday. She is also the host of the Bargain Bin on CJ97 between 11:30am and 12pm.
